Dessange Paris Comes to Canada #beautesecret | Beauty and Bits

Welcome back! Today, I’m excited to share a new hair care line that is coming to Canada this March. From the first salon on the Champs-Elysées, Dessange Paris, brings French glamour to every woman with elegance and charm with their luxurious products.

Coming to Shoppers Drug Mart exclusively, four collections will be launching that are specifically targeted to your hair care needs.

This collection is specifically designed to protect your colour and bring shine to your hair. The formula contains vitamin E and UV filters that will smooth and moisturize all hair types.

The collection includes:

  • Dessange Salon Colour Restore Conditioner
  • Dessange Salon Colour Restore Top Coat Serum Treatment

Dessange Paris California Blonde Collection

The California Blonde collection provides your hair with the moisture it needs while bringing radiance to your colour-treated blonde hair. The formula contains passion-flower extracts that will nourish your hair for added softness.

The collection includes:

  • Dessange Paris California Blonde Illuminating Conditioner
  • Dessange Paris California Blonde Illuminating Elixir
  • Dessange Paris California Blonde Brass Color Correcting Crème

Dessange Paris Solar Blonde Naturale Collection

The Solar Blonde Naturale collection will progressively lighten your natural blonde hair. The formula contains chamomile and citrus extracts which brings shine while nourishing your hair.

The collection includes:

  • Dessange Paris Solar Blonde Naturale Brightening Shampoo
  • Dessange Paris Solar Blonde Naturale Brightening Conditioner
  • Dessange Solar Blonde Naturale Lightening Gelee Treatment

 Dessange Paris Oleo Miracle Collection

The Oleo Miracle collections helps over-processed and damaged hair come back to life. The formula contains three precious oils of argan, camellia and pracaxi. This combination nourishes your hair while protecting it from the elements and detangling your hair.

The collection includes:

  • Dessange Paris Oleo Miracle Replenishing Shampoo
  • Dessange Paris Oleo Miracle Replenishing Conditioner
  • Dessange Paris Oleo Miracle Replenishing Oil

For this post, I reviewed the Dessange Paris Oleo Miracle. I’ve included my experience under each item below.

Dessange Paris Oleo Miracle Replenishing Shampoo

The first thing I noticed about this product was the smell. Now, it is relatively strong and some people might not enjoy it, but I personally loved it. I found the product worked well with the other items in the collection and on its own. Of course, to get the full benefits, on most occasions, I used the full collection.

To give you an idea on my hair, it is very thick and long. When I wash my hair, I spend quite a bit of time detangling it. It is relatively healthy but my ends are slightly damaged. When I used this shampoo, I found my hair to be more shiny and healthy. I think I just might need to get a trim for those ends, but if this can help me avoid that for a little bit longer – I’m all for it.

Dessange Paris Oleo Miracle Replenishing Conditioner

Next up, the conditioner. I found that it was much easier to brush through my hair when I was blow drying it and provide a smooth finish. All in all, I am definitely a huge fan of this conditioner.

Dessange Paris Oleo Miracle Replenishing Oil

Oils always make me nervous. Whether it’s for your hair or face, I am very conservative when I apply them. For this replenishing oil, I placed 2 drops in the palm of my hand and applied it from the ear down. I didn’t want this to weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. I was pleasantly surprised with the final result. My hair appeared healthier and I only used 2 drops. I think this will last me quite a while since I only need a small amount each time. If your hair is damaged from the elements or heat styling products, definitely look into picking this up.

Press samples were received for editorial consideration. Any opinions expressed are my own. This is not a sponsored post.

Mid-week roundup ☀️ I've been keeping my make Mid-week roundup ☀️

I've been keeping my makeup pretty light the past couple of days. With the warmer weather, I tend to reach for lightweight products.

Do you use the same makeup all year or change them depending on the season? 👇

I've purchased this @lorealparis infallible pro-matte foundation so many times.

If you have oily skin, this is a great medium-buildable foundation that stays on longer. It doesn't settle into fine lines and keeps you matte all day. It's worth trying out. 👍

Lately, I've been using @garniercan
all-in-1 waterproof micellar cleansing water. I find that it breaks down stubborn long-wear makeup easily. This is especially good for eye makeup that can be difficult to remove. From there, I use my favourite cleanser.

Cleanser
Trying out the @beautybyzero_ca and I've been loving it so far. 100% natural vegan skincare that blends coconut oil, sweet almond oil and sacha inchi seed oil.

Eye cream
I've heard great things about the @cerave_canada eye repair cream and its ability to reduce puffiness and dark circles. This is a great drugstore option if you're in the market for an eye cream.

Moisturizer
Also from CeraVe - As someone who can have very dry skin, I've really enjoy how lightweight this is on the skin. A great drugstore option for face and body.

Gua Sha
Picked this up on Amazon and I've enjoyed adding this to my routine. Gua Sha benefits include stimulating circulation, producing collagen, softening fine lines and wrinkles and decreasing puffiness.
