Essie Grow Faster
This is a great option if you are looking to grow your nails. I found that within a week, my nails had grown longer. It helps protect the colour for a longer wear and can be worn with another colour or simply by itself.
Essie Ridge Filler Base Coat
I didn’t realize it when I bought this base coat, but it is meant as an anti-aging polish. I mainly purchased it because I don’t have the flattest nails in the world and I found that my regular nail polish would not go on smooth. I really enjoy this base coat because it fills any ridges I have on my nails, and helps with any discolouration that I tend to get with my red nail polish. I would highly recommend this for anyone who has ridges on their nails and are looking for smoother nails.
For my tools, I use a Cuticle Pusher, Cuticle Trimmer, Nail File and a Nail Clipper. I picked these tools at Sally Beauty Supply and they are essential when I am changing my nail polish.
Figs & Rouge Mango & Mandarin Hand Cream
This is an amazing hand cream. I will say that you will either love or hate the smell but I am a big fan of the mango and mandarin mix. It feels very light, and if you’re not a big fan of lotion because you feel like you can’t move until it dries – this is the hand lotion for you. It is very moisturizing and overall a great option when I am giving myself a manicure.
Sally Hansen Complete Manicure Cuticle Eraser & Balm
This is a great alternative if you are not a fan of lotion. It smells of White Tea and Cucumber and gently loosens and exfoliates stubborn, overgrown cuticles while leaving skin feeling deeply moisturized. It is a great option since it can be used daily and it won’t ruin your current manicure.
Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover
This is by far my favourite product in this blog post. You apply it directly to your cuticle and let it sit for 15 seconds. I usually will apply it to all my nails in this time and with a cuticle pusher remove all the dry and dead (gross!) skin around my nail. Overall, it’s a great product that will help give you a salon manicure at home.
